Soil micro organisms are often living together with the roots of higher plants. The plants are benefiting from this as the symbionts make important nutritive substances available to the higher plant.

The IFP developed products using these positive mechanisms. These products are added to the soil substrate as an aid. So growth, blooming, and stress tolerance is increased. Further products for special applications are developed in research projects (heavy metal and salt polluted soils).
